Gamblers Anonymous
A fellowship of people sharing experience to address gambling problems. Meetings are available in many countries. Visit gamblersanonymous.org for meeting locators.
The Salon Verde at Marenca is optional entertainment for adults who choose it. These guidelines help keep play social, informed, and within personal limits.
Entry to the Salon Verde is restricted to guests who are 18 years of age or older — or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Valid government-issued photo identification is checked at the door. Minors are never permitted in the salon, even when accompanied by adults. Marenca staff may refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated or unable to provide acceptable ID.
Participation in salon activities is never required to book a room, dine at the cocina, use the thermal baths, or attend courtyard cultural events. Your stay is complete without ever entering the gaming wing.
Marenca separates the salon physically and acoustically from guest rooms and family areas. Signage is discreet; staff do not promote gaming during check-in or dining service. If you prefer to avoid the salon entirely, request accommodation in the west wing where no evening foot traffic passes the entrance.
Before entering the salon, decide in advance how much time and money you are willing to spend. Treat gaming as entertainment with a fixed budget — not as a way to recover losses or solve financial problems. If you notice irritability, chasing losses, or neglecting meals and rest, step away and speak with reception.
You may request voluntary exclusion from the Salon Verde for the remainder of your stay or for a longer period covering future visits. Contact reception in person or via Email reception. We record your preference and decline salon entry for the duration you specify. This service is confidential and free of charge.
