Beneath Marenca's garden lies a network of channels first carved when Roman engineers traced mineral springs toward the shore. Water still rises warm and faintly sulphurous, filtered through limestone before it reaches our basins.
The bath wing occupies the villa's lowest terrace — half sunk into the hillside so that vaulted ceilings stay cool even in August. Natural light enters through narrow clerestory slots lined with sea-blue glass fragments. Attendants speak softly; mobile phones are discouraged beyond the changing rooms.

Vasca di Sale
A rectangular basin lined with pale Carrara marble. Water rich in magnesium and calcium is maintained at a steady 34 degrees Celsius — warm enough to loosen muscle tension without inducing lethargy.
Giardino Termale
An open-air cold pool surrounded by rosemary hedges. The contrast plunge follows steam sessions and invigorates circulation. Water temperature holds near 18 degrees year-round.
Stanze di Erbe
Individual copper tubs filled with infusions of lavender, chamomile, or citrus blossom. Sessions last forty-five minutes and include a pot of cooling mint tea served beside the tub.

Hours & etiquette
The baths open daily from 08:00 to 20:00, with a quiet maintenance window between 14:00 and 15:00 when only the cold plunge remains accessible. All guests receive one complimentary circuit per stay; additional sessions may be booked at reception.
- Swimwear required in shared pools; optional in private herbal rooms.
- Shower before entering any basin to remove oils and sunscreen.
- Silence is observed in the hammam; quiet conversation permitted in the garden plunge.
- Children under fourteen may use the baths only during the 08:00–12:00 family window.
