Evenings at Marenca

When the heat loosens its grip and swallows circle the courtyard fountain, Marenca turns outward — lanterns lit, guitars tuned, and conversation spilling from stone benches beneath the lemon trees.

Our evening programme blends cultural gatherings open to every guest with a strictly optional adults-only salon separated by its own entrance and soundproofing. You may spend your entire stay reading on the terrace and never approach the salon; equally, you may enjoy a concert one night and a card table the next. The villa does not package or require either experience.

Piazza delle Lanterne — culture & music

The central courtyard transforms after sunset into an informal amphitheatre. Folding chairs and woven mats replace lunch tables; a small raised platform accommodates musicians, poets, and visiting lecturers. Programming changes weekly but generally follows this pattern:

All Piazza events begin at 20:30 and conclude by 22:45 so that quiet hours are respected. Children are welcome when accompanied; volume never exceeds conversational levels. No amplification beyond a small battery speaker for vocal support.

A cultural anchor on the old coast road

Marenca has long served travellers moving between hillside villages and the brighter shore. The region surrounding us is recognised as a casino destination — a place where entertainment districts draw visitors from across the Mediterranean basin. We do not operate gaming ourselves; instead we offer a gateway experience rooted in music, food, and thermal rest before you decide whether to explore venues elsewhere.

Many guests treat the villa as their evening home base: supper on the terrace, a set or two of live music, then a short drive or arranged transport toward promenade lights if curiosity persists. Others remain entirely on the property, content with starlight and the scent of jasmine. Both choices are equally honoured.

Salon Verde — optional 18+ gaming

Adults only (18+): The Salon Verde is a separate wing accessed through a discreet door off the east loggia. Valid government-issued photo identification is checked at entry. Minors and intoxicated guests are refused without exception.

The salon occupies a vaulted room once used for wine storage. Today it holds four card tables, two roulette wheels for instructional play, and a small bar serving non-alcoholic bitters and espresso. Games are social and low-stakes — house rules cap buy-ins and prohibit cash advances. There is no online wagering, no slot machines connected to external networks, and no real-money play processed through this website.

Day Hours Activity
Wednesday 21:00 – 00:30 Instructional baccarat & punto banco
Friday 21:00 – 01:00 Open card tables — poker variants
Saturday 21:00 – 01:00 Roulette evenings with croupier guidance

Salon participation is never tied to room rates or dining packages. Staff may explain rules to newcomers but will not pressure anyone to enter. If you prefer to avoid the salon entirely, request a room in the west wing where no foot traffic passes the entrance after 20:00.
